What happens if I don’t claim my new credential?

You have until December 31, 2026, to log in to the Certification Hub and unlock your account.

• If you do not take the necessary action to claim your credential by December 31, 2026, the credential will become inactive and lapse for a period of one year.
• You may reinstate from a lapsed credential status during that year; fees may apply.
• If you choose not to renew or reinstate your credential, or if you take no action, your credential will expire.
• If your credential expires, you will need to meet the eligibility requirements that are current at that time. 
• Apply to the program and successfully pass the examination to regain the credential.
