What do the scholarship awards include?

Each scholarship award is different.

  • Founders’ Scholarship:
    • Covers tuition for all IFM core functional medicine curriculum (AFMCP + 6 APMs), which can be applied toward the accredited functional medicine education hours required to qualify the Certification Program:
      • Functional Medicine Certified Professional (FMCP)™  or
      • Functional Medicine Certified Professional-Medical (FMCP-M)™
    • Annual International Conference (winner must attend in-person event)
      • Up to $1,000 travel-expense reimbursement
  • Debbie Sanstad Scholarship:
    • Covers tuition for all IFM core functional medicine curriculum (AFMCP + 6 APMs), which can be applied toward the accredited functional medicine education hours required to qualify the Certification Program:
      • Functional Medicine Certified Professional (FMCP)™  or
      • Functional Medicine Certified Professional-Medical (FMCP-M)™
    • Annual International Conference (the year the scholarship is awarded)  
    • Certification Application Fee
