How were the renewal dates selected?

Renewal dates were selected to align with the new certification program objectives to safeguard the public interest, demonstrate continued competence, enhance learning, and encourage practitioners to remain up to date with changes in the practice of functional medicine over time.

The IFMCP designation has been issued annually since 2013, and some practitioners have been certified longer than others. Those who got certified in an earlier cohort will have to renew before those who more recently earned their IFMCP.
